Come on Coach, everyone and their brother knew Iowa was going to run the ball. The team should have come prepared to stop the run and make them pass. Instead they made your D look like pansies and passed off the run. Take away the 4 turnovers and it's a different game? That's what it's all about and your team made the mistakes. Pathetic!

Excuses and sugar coating seems to be Tim...errrrr...Jerry's signature MO.

I watched the same game as Kill did. The Gophers got blown out in a Big Te4n road game. Some things never change. Gopher football is a joke.

Kill did not have his team prepared well for Iowa and his defense reverted to the very long standing Gopher tradition of being able to stop absolutely everything except for the run and the pass.

"They are who we thought they were" - Denny Green As the realists have been saying all along, beating D-II caliber patsies proves nothing when you only win maybe 1 or 2 games in the B1G.

Iowa just came out and played more inspired ball than we did. It was their homecoming and they came off an embarrsing loss. The Northwestern game will tell much about this team. Ski U Ma

Well, Phil, I guess this column was the sugar-coated piece that attracted all the naysaying yellowjackets to sting Coach Kill. That's OK; we'll let them sit together in a corner muttering to each other about how Nick Saban should have been willing to come to the U just to prove something. In the meantime, we will follow Coach Kill and the Gophers as they continue to improve.

Playing teams from the Big East (BCS Conf), Mountain West and MAC are not D-II teams. It is a good schedule for a team working it's way back up to respectability. The Gophers beat Iowa the last two years when all thought they'd get trounced by them. It's gonna take a little bit more time but Coach Kill is the right man for the job!
