A well-executed game plan was most evident in special teams highlights, but the Vikings also stuffed the run and neutralized Calvin Johnson.

I'm not sure how this team is 3-1 but I'll take it. First in the division!! Skol Vikings!

Good defense, barely adequate offense.

Take that Detroit, I knew we'd kick your rear end today!!!! 5-1 is looking real good, if we could beat the Titans at home next week!!!! We have the making of a good team, one week offense, next week defense, this week special teams. We'll take a win no matter how it comes!!! Great victory Vikes!!!!!

special teams and field goals will not carry the team through the season, Ponder and his offense were scoreless that is cause for concern.

You what your record says you are, and they're 3-1. Give Simpson time to work into the offense, and they'll score more points. Oh yeah, this just in: AD is a beast!

This the NFL, we don't have to apologize for a win. The Packers in 2010 rarely won pretty, but yet won that the Superbowl that year. I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week!!!!!!

Grades Defense B+, Special teams A, and Offense C at best. AP and Harvin played well but the QB play was marginal. Still had a dumb penalty that could have cost the game. Mr Greenway when you make a dumb late hit don't act guilty immediately the refs don't need the help.

Great team effort, elimate mistakes, take advantage of theirs and tackle!

Defense and Special this game and the offense didn't lose it, they played with the lead and played ball control, which was okay, they did not go for the kill as most of us would have liked, but it's a win. They lose this game last year.

That late hit may have been dumb but it payed off. The Lions receivers knew they would get hit and did hear the footsteps. As far as the offense went they did what the coaches wanted them to do, Eat the clock .
