And it's over, the biggest choke by the U.S. ever.

Epic collapse.

Every Ryder Cup we watch the USA miss crucial putt after crucial putt when it matters most. It doesn't matter how close the putt is. They are unprecedented in their choking ability as a team.

News flash - I called the choke last night with a buddy a took home an easy 100 bucks!!! (yes, he was sober at the time!) The US pre-madonnas can't play under pressure...why is anyone surprised???

I have always liked Steve Stricker, but he was terrible. Not only did he win nothing, he contributed nothing in the losses. He performed like a cheesehead.

If Stricker or Furyk are ever on a Ryder cup team again....may as well mail it in. And Stricker, while being from Wisconsin, is actually a BEARS fan. Too bad he choked just like the Bears.

People like Woods, Stricker, and Furyk should be excluded from the Ryder Cup next time regardless of their individual records or popularity. While there were a few exciting moments in the competition, for the most part it looked like what it was - a collection of tired players playing mediocre golf, many of whom are past their prime. They're competing in what they must feel is golf's equivalent of an All-Star or Pro Bowl event - something for which it's an honor to be chosen but not really a good fit anymore for their games. At least that's the case for the US team with some player selections apparently made in hopes of getting better TV ratings or to avoid hurt feelings among friends.

Watched it constantly for three days....and great golf. Sometimes USA (Fri/Sat) and sometimes Europe(Sunday)...but most of the players...first class people who entertain as great, respectful athletes. And if you are a golfer you know it is a humbling sport...somedays it works and somedays it does not. Classy people, hardly mediocre golf and close competition to the end.

Soooo glad he blew it!!! Davis Love is one of the worst people I ever met. He should second guess the way he treats people. Encountered him at a local private golf club and Mr. Love failed to realize golf course employees are real human beings and at the very least should be acknowledged when they ask if you need anything.

I'm a golf junkie and enjoyed watching this collection of many of the worlds's best get together and tee it up, but the whole concept is rather silly...taking a game that is uniquely individual and trying to create the illusion of "team" play with some rather contrived formats. Some entertaining golf was played though and I always like watching individual match play. But the cumulative scores of a bunch of unconnected individuals is really not a "team" in my book.
