Yeah, okay, we've got a deep threat. But we're doing far better than expected with our short passing game and punishing running game, so just use him as a decoy and don't change a thing.

My only concern with Simpson is his hands. Dropping passes especially when the great opportunity arises to throw the ball in a 1-1 scenario to your receiver can bring a team down in a hurry. Watching the Ravens/Browns game, Cleveland would have won that game easily if their receivers would have just caught the easy passes. Catch the ball Jerome, that's all we ask. Ponder will get it to you.

If Simpson's return, causes Defenses to play 7, instead of 8 in the box, that would be a big boost to the Vikes Offense. If we can get Simpon on a couple of deep slant, or fly patterns, that will keep 2 Safeties away from the line of scrimage, and give openings for Harvin's shot game, and Peterson's running game. Glad to see you back, Jerome!!! GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The deep threat will now open up for AD as the defense now has to account for Simpson down field and open things up a bit. Must have Simpson, Harvin, AD, and Rudolf on the field at the same time. This combination creates a lot of options for Ponder. I like it. GO VIKINGS!!!!
