Will Roy make it out of training camp? It's an obvious long shot, but I hope he does well.

50 wins? If we could get 35, the season would be a success...

Once/if healthy, every single one of our starters is a top ten player at their position. I think Pek, Love, and Roy at their peaks break into the top five and Rubio has the potential to. Rubio and Kirilenko are fantastic defenders. Love and Pek are just monsters on the boards, who saw that Rockets game last season? We have the potential to be very scary.

35 wins would be a success? Fail. Many of the statistical projects put the wolves as a top 4 seed in the west. I'm not saying that's the be all, end all, but on paper this team should be very good. Absolutely "playoff good". We have really good depth at every position. Take a look at ESPN's top 500 NBA players. Specifically, focus on how many players used to play for us that are in the bottom third, and compare that to now.

Here's a storyline: would it be possible to make the NBA not suck? Until they figure out a way to do that, I'll be camping outside the X waiting for news about the REAL winter sport.

I'm glad a hockey guy wandered into this basketball bar. If you stay long enough and have enough beers, you'll like it. I doubt we'll be seeing any Wild hockey soon.

It is going to be interesting to see how much progress Pek can make this year. He was night and day from last year to the year before and at his new weight and the fact he is healthy I really think he is going to be huge for us. This whole thing hinges on Ricky though, I can't wait to see that dude back on the court.

I'm excited for the season, but I think this team's ceiling is around the 5-6th seed in the West(and that's if Rubio returns to form in December and we get something from Roy/AK47). Still, that's a vast improvement from where we were the past couple of years. Roy and AK47 hopefully can serve as a veteran bridge towards establishing a winning culture, but if this team has any hope of being elite in a few years it will come from developing Love/Rubio/Pek/D-Will
