Looks like the Twins have failed in their concerted effort to lose 100 games this year and will be only able to lose 94 at the most. Still, one must recognize the achievement of this highly paid and well managed and talented team in being able to lose 99 games last year and 91 so far this year, i.e. 190 losses to date in two years. That takes lots of highly paid talent and good managerial efforts to achieve that kind of success on the field. In addition, the Twins do have their new ball park that was built at taxpayer expense so everything is good!

I am solidly rooting for Cabrera to get that rarest of rare goals in baseball, the Triple Crown. That truly is an amazing accomplishment. Go Cabrera Go!
