This review is so lame it deserves little comment. Once gain, Bream is "right" and the rest of the world is out of step. Balderdash!

Hasn't learned how to sing yet?? And you have the audacity to compare her to Taylor Swift? Have you heard Taylor live? I mean really HEARD her live? But then again, what else would we expect from your review on Carrie. Thank goodness she stays true to her roots and remains the amazing singer and person she is and doesn't let fools like you stop her from being one of the greatest entertainers there is.

What a terrible review. I don't know what concert you attended but I highly enjoyed the concert. Carrie is a class act with a wonderful singing voice!

Probably not the biggest fan, but I was there last night & loved the show. I'm not sure why you thought you had to overthink things.

Glad I missed the show that the "always looking for the negative" Bream was at. The Carrie Underwood show we were at was really good. My wife, who is not a big fan, even loved it. Based on the people sitting around us, I'd say everyone loved the show. I didn't catch anyone complaining about it on the way out. As to Hunter Hayes, even though I don't "get it" with him I would have to say that all the young ladies sure seemed to have a good time swooning over him. He is a very talented young man and will do ok for himself even without Mr Bream support.

I didn't go to the concert, nor am I an Underwood fan but this was review was a rambling mess and didn't seem to have a clear argument at all. You just don't like her and wanted to rip on her. Whatever dude.

I thought the review nailed the problem with Carrie Underwood. Her voice is fantastic but she's remote and has no clue how to sell a song and connect with a listener. Her range is unbelievable but her material is meaningless for the most part and she seems unable to deliver, so far anyway, the soul behind the song.

Underwood is a much better singer than Swift. Swift's voice has no range at all but she is a very good writer.

For once I have to agree with Bream. Although Carrie Underwood is a far better singer then Taylor Swift, he is right in the sense that she has no soul behind her singing. Yes she is pretty & blond & thin, but that's about it. She is almost Barbie Doll like in her singing, no animation, just a flat screen. It also amazes me how it sounds as if she is constipated when trying to hit those soaring notes, pushing & straining. Why has she won so many country awards? For a while country had no new current female talent, but with the emergence of singers like Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Nettles, etc. country now has really talented women & it won't be long before the Taylors & Carries will be pushed to the background.

The thing that always strikes me most about Ms. Underwood is that when you see her in an interview, she comes across as having absolutely no personality whatsoever. It's almost as if someone simply writes down what she's supposed to say to answer a certain type of question and she simply repeats the memorized text verbatim.
