Percy is a developing super star! Sounds like he is a great role model for the young players. His behavior says even when you're great, you got great and will stay great only so long as you consistantly work your tail off! Vikes need to sign him to a long term lucrative contract! Toby has the right idea to keep focus on secure ball handling. AP seems to have overcome his tendency to fumble, so go for it Toby. Go Vikes, beat Detroit!!!

Glad to see Percy is letting his play on the field do the talking in regards to a new big contract with the Vikes. Here's hoping the team is ready to pony up after this season or next summer could be ugly. SKOL!!

Also...was it just a coincidence that the defense played so well this past Sunday with Erin Henderson not on the field? Looks like he's out again this week and may be out of the starting line-up for awhile to come...

Not only will they have to figure out a contract for Percy, but I'm pretty sure Allen's deal is done after next season. I'll bet they let Allen walk.

1. Percy is the same Percy - it's good to see Frasier and Musgrave get their act together (on this point) and use the guy! Now, if we could just get them to use AD a little more dynamically instead of just running him up the middle (remember the 20 YAC slant/cross he had against JAC or IND I don't remember which? remember how open he was on a curl out of the backfield on Rudolf's second TD catch play for our third TD in the SF game?). And, while I'm not a huge Erin Henderson fan, he does make some nice plays (mixed with some bad ones) and too say "the D is better without him" is foolish IMO.

Vikings first play of 1st possesion of the game should happen like this: Simpson lined up wide left next to Harvin in the slot, Aromashadu wide left. Harvin runs short slant, Rudolph staight up the seam and Ponder throws to Simpson on a GO route! The defense will be loosened up the rest of the game whether its completed or not!

If he keeps playing like he's playing Percy will be an even richer young man after this season.
