I am a die-hard Gopher Hockey fan and really despise UND hockey, but I gotta say that I wish they could leave that Sioux logo on their jerseys. Seriously, that is a cool looking hockey sweater.

Yes, and yet we have the "washington REDSKINS" and political operatives who feel it's okay to mock rival candidates with fake tomahawks and war whoops.....ah, America, land of irony. At least the Sioux were a proud warrior nation, both historically, and as a sports team.

The power of the almighty dollar... NCAA doesn't want the University to lose Uncle Ralphs money. Let's stop wasting time and make a decision and move on. Either keep it or dump it.

...and don't forget the Fighting Irish. lets face it, it's a lot easier to pick on a small school like North Dakota rather than a large one with many influential alumni.

Politically-correct, Leftist, hypocrites -- all for changing the name, but then when they realize they'd have to part with some of their own money to comply with the NCAA dictate they squeal like stuck hogs!!!!!!
