Mildly amusing, but banal nonetheless. I doubt many people believe political ads, though obviously many are not above parroting the lines in the hope that the less informed might believe them. Politics is a circus. Always has been. Always will be. Entertaining certainly, but with about as much meaning as 17 clowns climbing out of a Volkswagen beetle.

Would you include the Founders in your characterization of politics and the practitioners of politics, owatonnabill? Would you characterize the foundations of politics constructed in stifling rooms of 1775 and 1787 as "clowns climbing out of a Volkswagen beetle"? We citizens should demand no less of politicians today, in my opinion.
