Romney may try to fix the economy, but his theory is textbook trickle down and I am not willing to go through that again. As far as the word "sluggish" economy; OK, as good a term as any, but go back to 2008 and pick the adjective to define that year under GWB. How about "frightening?" I will take "sluggish" all day long and no, I don't want to be trickled on again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You can't and won't fix this economy from the top down with "job creators" given the tax breaks to create jobs. It just doesn't happen. The solution is to stimulate the economy by giving massive tax breaks to the middle class, and watch them spend that money, creating demand for products. THAT is how you create jobs. Now, if we can just get people to buy products with the label "Made in the USA" on them!

Further, I think of all the money we have thrown away since Bin Laden's death in Afghanistan, and wouldn't it have been nice and wouldn't it be nice to have taken that money, and offered it in a rebate program for prospective home buyers in this country, stimulating home sales and heaven forbid, perhaps even creating a demand for more housing in this country?

Welcome to the Obama economy, he owns it. If you don't like it, you have the opportunity to vote for a change in a few short weeks.

Does anyone with a brain really think tax cuts for the Rich will help this economy. The money does NOT go for job creation. It goes into the pockets of the CEO's. What do you think is going on now. The rich are getting more than their fair share and the middle class is suffering. Nice try GOP. You are out to screw the middle class just so you can get even more. Isn't the disparity between the wealthy and the middle class large enough?

The new Obama normal. If you like what we have now, vote for a second term.

In a few weeks, Minnesotans are poised to reelect the man who has no plan to fix the economy. Apparently, 8+% unemployment is a job well done these days.

"...I don't want to be trickled on again." - - Who does? Romney the answer? No. Obama the answer? Skeptically Maybe. He seems to be the lesser of two evils. ANY politician, in my opinion, seems to be looking out for themselves until election time rolls around. Then it all about the people, how to strengthen the middle class (kind of like fattening up a turkey before Thanksgiving) to get the economy jump started again. We need to get the middle class working again, people on welfare and the rich are depending on us.

Of course the economy is weak, republicans block and obstruct anything that might help the economy and jobs, afraid the dems might take credit for it, party over country.

We're resigned because we're realists. we see that both candidates are offering more of this corporatist economy, rather than the nation focused economy the constitution was designed for. Perhaps in 2016 a real choice will emrge, if not sooner. Either way, we're in for four more wasted years thanks to the Crown Party of R and D.
