Steve Sack, thank you...thank you...thank you. Your wonderful cartoons have shined a bright light on the truth with such beautiful humor time and time again. Often Phil and I read the newspaper as we eat breakfast together and one of us always finds your cartoon first and says ...."you have to see this." It will be one of the those memories we have of each other ... delighting over a Steve Sack cartoon with our coffee and cheerios.
Indeed, I've put more Steve Sack cartoons on my fridge than any others. As for gay marriage, it shouldn't be a big deal. After all, marriage as an institution has survived far bigger issues (namely, divorce and adultery).
Marriage isn't a Christian institution. It predates Jesus by thousands of years. Pagans had laws about it. The Roman emperor Augustus said the same things about marriage that the evangelicals are saying now.
This is how Rome fell.
"This is how Rome fell."
Really? Here I always thought it was the greed of the upper class, ineptitude of its leaders and the over-extension of its military. Who knew gay Romans overthrew the entire Roman Empire!!
You can augue about Rome all you want but this is how Sodom & Gomorrah fell.
leftistdork - - - "God destroyed Sodom on behalf of the oppressed. Sodom's prosperity had caused them to grow prideful and neglect the poor and needy." - - - I guess I'll go with beebee82 on this one.
I used to appreciate Sack. He's joined the bandwagon.
Sack could have added similar frames on Voter ID but I'm guessing he would never do so because it's against the liberal's rules to point out the truth about voter ID laws.
Ranger, I have asked repeatedly to every one of the people knocking on my door pushing one politician or another , to point me to a non partisan study that clearly identifies where in the state we have voter ID problems. Not a single one can point it out, maybe you can help?
