Integrity of judges is crucial to public support of the judicial system. Is any journalist going to report that Dan Griffith, who is running for Chief Justice, was found guilty in Koochiching County courts and fined #1,000 for repeatedly lying on the record in more than one case? The voters should know about that!

I'd say throw 'em all out because it's time we get a clean slate of judges who will stop being partisan. But I doubt that would happen, and I fear more who Dayton would attempt to appoint. And groundpounder: I guess what you wrote qualifies Dan Griffith to be a Dem president or represent MN's 5th district (you know, the one Ellison represents) or be the senate majority leader of a Dem-controlled senate.
