His call ticked off Mike Ditka, and the Vikings' win became a pattern.

You forgot to mention Todd Scott's chucking the ball and doing the duck waddle celebration immediately after taking it to the house.

Chris Berman's ESPN highlights of this game were the best, as lip synced Ditka "DON'T DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT!!! (audible the coach's call and then throw an interception!) Cris Carter, all he does is .....

Remember it well. The Vikings were absolutely lifeless all game and there appeared zero chance of any kind of comeback, let alone a win.

I was in college in Chicago, watching the game with another buddy of mine from Minnesota. We were both pretty much ready to check out of it and head our separate ways. I briefly looked away - probably checking for another piece of pizza - when all of a sudden my buddy starts yelling "GO GO GO GO!" I turn to the TV and there's Scott prancing into the end zone. The remainder of the game is among my favorite sports memories, made all the better by being in Chicago.

I was at the Eric Fox game. For some reason, I had had my doubts about the Twins all season; something about them just seemed brittle. And that game just let the air out of the Dome, the Twins, the fans: everything. Walking out I knew that not only were the Twins finished for 1992, but it was the beginning of a time lost in the wilderness. I hated to be right about that. Unfortunately, I had the same feeling at Target Field watching Game 1 of the 2010 playoffs.

At least the bears have won a Super Bowl

I was at this game, opposite end zone. I would have left but my wife wanted to stay. Right before the audible I was all over her to go, and she resisted. Boom, Scott takes it the other way and the Ditka blow up was impressive, even for us in the other end zone. I think Roger Craig scored the winning TD for us that day?

I went to both games. My buddy went with me to both games, and he was an A's fan. I thought he was going to get attacked with how obnoxious he was after the homer (we had a few frosty ones before the game which didn't help). At least when we went to the Bears game with me we were cheering for the same team. I was shocked Ditka didn't have a coronary on the sidelines. You could see him plain as day from the stands having that meltdown. Classic!

I'm a season ticket holder and was at that game. It's true that roughly 1/3 of the crowd had left and it wasn't all that loud. It's also true that the Vikes were phoning it in up to that point. Somehow that woke them up and created on of the biggest momentum shifts I have ever seen in a game. Got it on tape. Might have to go watch it again now.
