Very nice article!!! However, your argument is invalid. The major political parties and news organizations, as well as the Star-Tribune use polls in an attempt to influence voters!!! A small, but growing, number of voters now see this effort and are dismissing these polls for what they are.

The reason someone "complains every year" that your polling is biased is simple......it IS! The ST MN polls are always the outliers, and always with bias in favor of the DFL, period. They are the most inaccurate of all the polls based on actual voter data after the election. The Strib may fluff themselves up about being one of the few papers that still invest in polling, but their polling costs should really be listed as political contributions on their balance sheet. The basic reason they run them is to help drag DFL candidates across the finish line.
