Dog adopts, nurses abandoned kitten

A Jordan family's Pekingese started producing milk and helped keep the tiny kitten alive.

I have tears in my eyes. Everyone look and reflect. Lopve is the biggest miracle, regardless of what you believe in-even if you don't believe in anything at all. :)

Many years ago, we had a neutered Black Lab who tried to nurse a litter of kittens after their mother died. He moved them all around the farm - with their whole heads in his mouth. We thought at first he was trying to eat them! He moved them from place to place until he was satisfied, and then we would see him on his side, with all the kitties in trying to find some milk. Poor confused dog - he never did give milk, though - we still had to do that!

Mittens is the poster child of the mandated "I'll Never Be Your Beast of Burden Act of 2009." Written by democrats to satisfy the rising voice of pet owners who marched on Washington demanding an equality based multi-breed diversity law to assist this very sort of dilemma. Republicans argued that it is not fair because of a known case where a feline known as "Boots" raised a Rotweiller named Claude. Well, you guessed it, later when Claude got bigger "Boots" ended up as fertlizer. If only that Claude dog could have understood the law it would be a perfect world.

My friend, Sandie, had the same thing happen. Her little dachsund (Sassy) nursed a little bitty bobtail kitten (Martini) until it could eat on its own <3

Awwww........that poor little kitten, it found it's Mittens, And it began to cry, Oh, mother dear, see here, see here, For I have found my Mittens. Come to Mittens, you silly kitten, And you shall have some pie. Purr, purr, purr, Oh, let me have some pie.
