Parksoy125, so people can't have hobbies and passions that don't conform to your utilitarian vision? We are now supposed to orient all our activities to "a more positive world?" Some gardeners grow flowers rather than vegetables; some people tailgate at vikings games while others wait in line for the next apple product. All are doing what they enjoy. I see nothing wrong with this.

great indicator of priorities...wait in line to buy a marginally better product just to be the few select who have it first. clearly our economy isn't as bad as we think...or, we really do need to worry about teaching people how to spend their money wisely.

Aren't these the same people who preach individuality, yet dress like the rest of the hipsters and basically just follow every fad that comes around? "Hi, I'm a free thinker, I wait in line just like every other drone to support the capitalistic infrastructure I say is evil."
