FSN to interview Twins right after games, even losses

Many teams don't like to have their players talk to the media directly after games, so the Twins are a bit wary.

It has to deal with fair and balance. Of course you will get all the "fluff" reactions from players after a loss when they have some time to dwell on it. A lot of times, media gets the best quotes from winners after the game because they are so excited and say so many things. It will be a neat perspective to hear what players really feel after a game where they weren't victorious. It would probably get a little old if you were reporting on the Wolves this year.

...because if they only interviewed them after a win, we'd only get about one interview each week. But, it's just going to be the same old, boring questions: "How big was this win?" or "How tough was this loss?"

This is the worst Twins team in 15 years. The idea will be scrapped after a month!

I love the throwaway note about the Big Ten Network...they already f-d us over through an entire football and basketball season, now they want you to pay for a season-ending anthem show...classic. What a great relationship they have developed in the network's first year with college sports fans. And to the commentor who said this is the worst Twins team in 15 years, I suggest he does a little research before hastily reaching that conclusion, because that was laughably inaccurate. I don't recall ANY former MVPs or batting champs on the 1996-2000 teams.

These guys are paid professionals who make millions, I find it absolutely hilarious that they can talk only after a win....I wish I would've got that same deal with my parents (only had to talk to them after a good day). I'm glad they are finally doing interviews after all games and ending this silly distinction.

Players have always talked after losses. The only thing that's changed here is the timing - immediately after the game. Personally I have zero interest in watching a player awkwardly choose his words the second after a tough loss. This just seems like another example of a network trying to entertain us with something new, when all really care about is what happens on the field.

I can't remember the last time I stuck around at the end of a baseball game, especially a night game, to watch a post-game interview. Win or loss

Players give the most boring interviews out there. It is just cliche after cliche...blah blah blah.
