Falling awkwardly at a party followed by no further comment only leads to speculation of what really happened. Whatever happened, the "kid" is now going to be 22 years old before playing his first game for the Gophers.

Hey. This is a kid who is a college student who plays (or wants to play) college hockey. Leave him be. If he were a pro who just signed a Parise/Suter contract -the sporting public might have a right to know. But right now Parise and Suter ... aren't playing either.

I had the chance to play with his Dad in high school, if the kids are anything like him they are fun loving characters. I wish the kid well.

One man's stumble is another man's opportunity. With the talent level at the U someone will step up. Heal fast Connor. Stay away from the parties and rehab that knee.

Well, I'm sure he'll be able to maintain his scholarship through strong academics.

Now he will have had both knees operated on. He's damaged goods!

Leave it to a Sioux fan (or do we just call them North Dakota fans) to throw stones in a glass house. Sounds like your team captains are great examples at these "team" parties too. Curious...

Sioux Captains at a party? No citations, No arrests, No problem. Much like HS Football in Texas, Sioux Hockey in Grand Forks is a religion. No surprise GF Police dept isn't allowed to touch our boys-it's Hakstol's town. In fact, the GF police dept. usually watch practice during the week, chat with the boys too. Standard.

SiouxChump: Thank you for sharing with us Minnesotans what it is like to live in a spot where people like to only watch hockey - as you probably know, a lot of us tend to also play the game here. ...Although it is good news for skaters from Manitoba, I am always surprised at how few ND kids take up the game.
