College football insider: The Big Ten blues

The conference has struggled mightily in the first three weeks, from top to bottom. Unless things change drastically, bowl season might be even uglier.

Nothing new is it as the Big ten teams have generally not done very well in the major bowl games with few exceptions. Let's see how Michigan does tomorrow against Hornung's old team and see what things look like after that. I think that most of the other conference teams, with the exception of Minnesota, play mid-level D-1 teams this weekend if they don't have a bye.
