The same people who ripped the Vikings for taking Ponder too early are now criticizing Ponder for not throwing deep. He is better than expected and would have been gone before the Vikings picked in 2011 if hindsight were 20/20.

I'm starting to be a big believer in the Total QBR quotient, which includes Wins and Losses as part of the quarterback rating. What is Ponder's Total QBR? Not saying he's terrible, or that his performance this year hasn't been incredibly promising, but let's not start calling him the 6th best/most efficient QB in the league just yet...

"what would sid say about andrew luck if he were on the vikings?"-----he would likely brag that even with Ponder's 110.6 rating this year, Luck's 75.6 rating is still better than Ponder's career 73.1

I hope that Harvin doesn't get disappointed with the team losing. He can become a leader of this team. Get him the ball at least 20 times a game, and he could really show what he has.

Harvin and ANYONE would make a potent combo. Ponder needs to thank Harvin for his YAC. Every QB in the league could make those dink passes. Harvin is a special talent and without him, the Vikings would be an absolute lock for getting the 1st overall pick in the draft next year.
