Hardly "medical consolidation" when the number three company far behind medtronic and st. jude purchases a stand-alone device startup company.. most of which are built on a single idea with the sole purpose of a pay-day corporate buy-out once the idea achieves FDA approval. This is good for the 5,000 Boston Scientific employees, good for the BridgPoint founders and good for future patients that would be receiving this treatment.
