Did the fantasy football thing in the late 80's and early 90's but I soon realized I didn't care enough to spend hours watching players for teams other than Vikings. After a while grew tired of most professional sports and found better uses for my time.

We had our 21st draft (actually we do an auction now) a few weeks ago. 12 out of 16 players are originals. Like the bartender who died young, we had member who died way to young. Our memorial was to rename the (massive) trophy after him. It may not sound like much, but to us (and to him) it means something. I did a ton of preseason research and ended up with a great team. So why am I 0-2? Still a ton of luck involved. But the good teams do seem to rise to the top at the end of the season. Time to go scour the waiver wire...

I tell guys who ask that I don't play fantasy football because I don't fantasize about muscular young men in tight pants. Shuts them up real quick.
