Thirty-five years ago, Carleton and St. Olaf played the first (and believed to be the only) NCAA-sanctioned game with a field measured in meters.

I was at that game (Carleton class of 1980). That is one of the things I love about Carleton - always interested in quirky out-of-the-box thinking. That was a fun and memorable day, in spite of the final score.
