It's interesting how plugged in one can get to the heroes of one's youth. As soon as I saw the headline, I knew immediately to whom the obit referred--the one and only Doc Rose. Anyone who passionately rooted for the North Stars would know how important he was, and would know Doc by name & recognize him instantly. RIP, sir. Well done, and thank you!

I wish I would have known Doc was living in the Grand Marias area. I would have loved to sit down and have a cup of coffee and hear him talk about the great old days of the North Stars and Met Center. RIP Doc, you've earned your rest.

Godspeed my friend....truely one of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure of meeting through the years at the Met..they don't come like that any more....
