of course not xyz, this is a campaign event, proving Obama loves women, and us evil GOPers hate women and are warring against them

I guess Obama has as much time for non-Americans (Israel) as Romney has for the 47% Americans.

Oh GAWD lighten up on the politics on this one. For years, regardless of who was President (Republican or Democrat) the White House has invited winning sports teams to meet the President. Why can't people just be happy for our Lynx and leave politics out of it???

"The team's 2011 WNBA championship is the first pro sports title for a Minnesota team in 20 years, since the Twins won the 1991 World Series." Oh really Star Tribune? How did the Minnesota Stars finish last season? Did they win any championships?

You have got to be kidding me!?! People are actually upset, and bringing politics into this? This is a tradition that has been going on for years. Give it a break. The world won't fall apart if the President takes a few minutes to congratulate a team on winning a championship. Vote None of the above in '12!

OK, a year late on that one...I mean seriously, they are making a run for a repeat this year and they JUST got invited? Some Olympic athletes have already been. Seems almost like a snub and it does almost come across moreso with a political agenda than if it had been acknowledged when they actually had won.
