Rick Spielman is now in his 3rd year of rebuilding this team. Where are all of these playmakers? On someone else's roster. Either Spielman is out of his element, Frazier and staff are horrible coaches, or Zygi is not spending the month and wants the fans to feel long term pain like he did waiting for a new stadium. All 3 just might be in play here.

Harvin, Peterson and Jerome Simpson. That should be enough to get the job done. The Vikings don't need more 'playmakers', they need a coach that is going to lead all his players to make plays. It's not about having a bunch of All Stars, it's about playing with heart and desire as a team.

Simpson hasn't played yet. That will help.

Brian Billick should be coaching the Vikings today.

From a first time season ticket buyer, the Gophers are fun to watch. Great atmosphere to watch a game. Coach Kill, you won't get any tempo in a game until you get all your players involved. Gray is a heck of an athlete but unless you loosen the defense by passing, it's going to be a long Big Ten season. As a passer, Gray can't get it done. Shortell can. With him you can get ride of your conservative offense and you just might find a running game. Biggest thing I noticed from the last game, you've got to stop micro-managing your defense on every play. Your coaching staff was responsible for 70% of the defensive penaties. They got the guys so screwed up waiting for the call, how could you expect them to perform at their best? You know, the saying is you can get to smart for your own good. You got good kids. Trust them.

We paid John Carlson $5 per year to be a playmaker. He has yet to register a catch this season.

The vikings defense is amongst the worst in the league and team knows you can pass on these clowns all day long. Absolutely nothing was done in regards to any real talent (free agency or draft wise)to improve this horrible defense in the off season. Couple that with the fact that the coaching staff has no talent either and it adds up to another last place NFC North Division finish and a 4 win season.

Yeah, the other playmaker with Percy Harvin is Joe Webb. Why the hell is he wasting away on the bench? Who are the fools that think that scenario is helping the team?

Musgrave is way too conservative and his plays are predictable. Run on1st and 2nd downs, then throw short passes on 3rd downs. Need to change tempo during game so that they can better utilize Peterson and Harvin. They should play the whole game like they did with their last 2 possessions. Don't think Frazier has the right temperament or knows enough Xs and Os to coach. Team is undisciplined, committing silly penalties on 3rd and 4th downs. Defense didn't played that bad today, except offense kept going 3 and out just like last year.

Here we go again.......Slow first quarter, no body playing deep on three long bombs, stupid penalties and slow quaterback ,pocket reads and movement. Coaching is terrible,no wide receiver or tight end action ,for a half and most of the game, over using poor Percy, no wonder he cramped up. Why is it for the last SIX YEARS we have announcers and fans calling out stupid coaching decessions......no huddle offense MIA,predictable offense[load up the box]leaving game breakers on the sideline at red zone time.Zygi, time to hire someone who knows what to look for in a coach.
