We are "chipper". When out in Boston at my brother's birthday party I went around and introduced myself to all his friends and engaged in conversation with everyone.....just acting sociable and normal, right? After the party he told me that everyone commented about how outgoing and friendly I was, he said, "People in Boston don't do that, they all think they have enough friends, and aren't trying to make any more!".
I wonder how much of smiling and saying hi is big city versus rual feel instead of MN thing???
