I guess since the money to pay the lawyers don't come out of their pockets, let's hire the most expensive attorneys possible.

Good job Minnesota stimulating the economy of other states. What a joke!! We have an architectural and engineering sector of the MN economy that has been dessimated. And now we send this design work to other states. In addition, these clowns hired an out of state Owners's Representative (at a huge premium) even though we have many talented and qualified firms in this state.

"It's a major decision and we want to get it right," said Lester Bagley, vice president of public affairs and stadium development for the Vikings ---- They will (bleep) it up. Just watch.

Are you folks clueless? The Vikings offered the bid to the public and these are the 5 companies that responded. Off course no Minnesota companies are not included because THEY did not submit a proposal. Keep in mind that these companies WILL subcontract work to Minnesota companies...it is the way business works.

I'm guessing they want to hire the best firm to build a billion dollar stadium regardless of where they're from, not settle for a local architect that has never done a project of this magnitude just because they're from Minneapolis. Are you guys the same people who complained that Target Field used grass from Colorado when we had perfectly good turf here in the good ol' Midwest?

The way these projects often work is that the firm hired will probably partner with a local firm. Either way, don't hire the firm from Dallas. We don't want another Block E.

Even better, AECOM brought an all Minnesota team to the interview last week. I hope that carries some weight with the committee.
