What a wonderfully refreshing story about a young athlete. Sounds like this young man has a good head on his shoulders, & has an excellent family support system. No matter where he ends up, I will be cheering for our 'South Metro Son'!

What about this kid going with his big buddy to the same school. Tubster needs to go talk to the big guy too. Get both of them and we are a real pick to go deep in the NCAA their freshman yr. C'mon Tubby I'm still waiting for you to land a 5 star player. Royce White was a head case. Go find another one!

We are doomed! You serious? He said he wants to win a championship. That will not happen here, even with his bro. He will go out east. I wish him well, but do not like how our home team can never keep the top talent in state. It's very dis-heartening and depressing.

I have to agree with cavell. If Tyus is indeed as good as projected,he won't be sticking around long enough to make a difference at most schools, except for those few schools that regularly recruit 4 or more 5 star recruits annually. Sometimes, the truth hurts.

Tubby should take a stroll over to St.Paul and ask the Wild what their pitch was to Suter and Parise. Use the hometown pride card, how they can be the start to something special in Gopher Land...and if they are serious about building these facilities then it should be a easy choice...but unfortunately it is not.
