Farmers rally for action on stalled farm bill

Their message: The law, dogged by election-year politics, affects the whole economy.

Instead of going to DC to rally for taxpayer paid subsidies, these farmers should be at home working. I support a farm bill that cuts these socialist subsidies to zero. That way there is no need to borrow money from China to pay these mooching farmers, and even more money is saved if the non-value adding government bureaucrats involved with subsidies are fired. Maybe there is hope that the bribes - uh - campaign contributions that Big Agriculture pays to politicians like Collin Peterson aren't working as well as they used to.

Hmmm... I thought the House of Representatives had already voted on a farm bill and sent it to the Senate for action. In such a long article, shouldn't there have been some mention of the progress, or lack of progress, in the Senate?
