So it beats summer of '31 with 90 degree days. Where does global warming come into the picture?

No climatologist ever said one hot summer = global warming they said more extreme whether events .very snowy winters and very dry winters or very hot summers or very cold summers.It's about trapping energy in our atmosphere and stirring things up like when you stir warm and cold only on a very large scale
