After a couple of miserable years, winning feels like 60 in February - lovely, and fleeting.

Ryan won't make a big move, because the Pohlads wants to cut payroll. We have yet to hear Jimbo come out and say he will do what it takes to make a winner. The new ad, is buy your season tickets now, so you get priority on All Star tickets. It's all about money, with no mention of winning. What a sham, how much is enough Jimbo?

With Chicago at Green Bay and Detroit in San Francisco, the Vikings have a realistic shot of being in first place alone after this weekend. It's a baby step but it would be the first time in a long time for a men's team around here.

Right on Act 2, unfortunately, unless you believe in miracles, it will probably also be the last in the forseeable future.

They saying down here that loss to Louisiana-Monroe was the worst in Arkansas' history. Boy, did I love it. And they are still worlds away from the Gopher football program.
