Arden Hills angered the DFL powers that be in St Paul, Minneapolis and Ramsey county and are being punished for their audacity.

If the place is deemed polluted (a hazard), why on earth is it allowed to sit there all these years not cleaned up? Where are the "greenies?" If this were privately owned, wouldn't the owner (a company, I assume) be fined tens of thousands or more and ordered to clean it up a.s.a.p.? Or do pollutants not count and not enter the ground water and air because it is gov't property? If the feds polluted it, they should clean it up immediately. It should not have to vie for state money (that doesn't really exist) to clean it up. Where are our U.S. Senators and the Congressman/woman for that district??

They missed their opportunity and are now crying about it. You had your chance to play ball but didn't want to. This is the reason this site has sat in this condition for so many years. They need some real leaders.

I agree with rickbmn completely. This is a recognized FEDERAL Superfund site that's been studied to death but not cleaned up. I read yesterday where Minnesota is near last in re-couping our federal tax dollars. Al, Amy - how about getting something done?

We spend money on private playgrounds named stadiums and don't clean up a site that can used as parkland for the common man. The politicians should be ashamed of themselves.

There was no money given because we like shiny new things, not cleaning up messes.

This is in an ideal location for many options - it's just a crime that the State didn't see fit to clean it up - they have money for everything else - why not this - could it be because the democrats got ticked off over the stadium site so are pouting. The site needs to be cleaned up and someone out there should go to bat for Arden Hills - Would have made the BEST stadium site but because of politics missed out on that too.

It was the best site for the new stadium but it was too far from the Democrat's stupid train. I say trade it for the fairgrounds and get the fair out of Roseville.
