It is way too early to call Chris Cook a bust. Outside of the blown coverage late in the game (Memo to Alan Williams: he had no safety help over the top) he played well and even recorded a sack! Not bad for his first game in more than a year and 7th game overall!

I agree Drock. Cook hung with Megatron last year, yielding only one catch to him in a game. He will get better. He realizes he's under glass and I believe he'l try to get better.

Cook - if he doesn't give up that TD, nobody questions his skill. And he wasn't exactly "beat" on that play. It was a pretty lucky play. Allen - sacks is not a measure of the man. Lack of sacks may mean that the offenses are double and triple-teaming him, keeping a back in for blocking help, or the QB is releasing the ball before he'd like, resulting in more inc and int. Using #'s to rate individual defenders is very shallow thinking. AP - I don't understand why the team isn't forcing him to wear a brace. I'm sure that is machismo on AP's part. But, just as players have conditions in their contracts regarding off-season and/or risky activity (Winslow and Big Ben on cycles), they should be able to say, "we are protecting our investment in you, wear the damn brace." I hope it doesn't come back to haunt him and the team. Hypothetical question: if they both played running back, how close are Harvin and AP, in skill?
