"An internal tracking poll for Democrats"? Yeah, I believe the results of that.

It's wonderful to read that Independent voters are following the issues, especially Bachmann's attacks against Muslims and Minorities, not to mention her disappearance from the state itself. Jim Graves will be a great representative, fighting for ALL the people of the 6th district.

Bachmann is an embarrassment to the 6th district, the state, and America. She deserves to lose, not just because she's a Republican, but because she's bad at her job, and has views way, way out of the mainstream (even for a Repub).

I share the first commentor's skepticism, but wouldn't it be great if the voters of the Sixth realized they did not need to have a self-involved, only in it for myself, can't pass legislation, national figure who is apparently more interested in being on Fox News than accomplishing anything for her district? Just how many votes did she make? Just what has she done for the Sixth in the time she has been their Representative?

She is, was, and always will be on an ego trip. The people who vote for her, are not really voting for her as much as against the democrat. It is a republican controlled seat and Bachmann happened to be in the right place at the right time; good for her, bad for the reputation of Minnesota and in particular, the sixth district. In a way though, I do find her antics entertaining and do get a chuckle out of what she says. I guess you have to laugh, or you will cry. Maybe the answer for the sixth district is to get a very strong independent candidate, that democrats can live with, and republicans can vote for as an alternative to giving the seat back to the democrats?

Time to donate to the Graves campaign.

I'll believe an independent poll instead when it is available. It's time to move her out that's for sure. Nobody reported how naive she was about the new bridge. She expected it could be built from a conceptual drawing and could be done by next year. That, plus all of her other "gaffs" over the years shows she has no business in office. And people voted for her to become the next president. Just unbelievable.

She is to scared to debate him. She won't have joint press conferences, or participate at the same event because she knows that standing side by side in an adult conversation, she would show her true colors. You gotta love Amy K; she has a resounding lead over Bills but she agreed to 3 debates. She has guts; Bachmann is a coward.

''Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas.'' - Michele Bachmann

The 6th is strongly Republican, just as the 8th is strongly Democratic. The 6th needs a new face just like the people of the 8th felt that way two years ago. Unfortunately for the 8th then and the 6th now, they will need to vote the other party for once. Please do, for the sake of the whole state's reputation.
