For once they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, rather than the other way around!

I know I could stand a nice boring, blow-out win by the Vikes this Sunday. I'm not sure my old ticker can handle another game like week one! We need to get to Luck early and often so this game is over by the 3rd quarter! SKOL!

Walsh's kick(s) changed everything. Ponder's fumble was forgotten, Rudolph's short arms got longer, Allen's no sacks were because he was double teamed and my wife's Pot Roast tasted a lot better.

The coaching staff should have been fired after that game

I wish Frazier would have tried a high percentage roll-out run/pass with Ponder on the 3rd and 6 at the end of the game instead of the predictable run, run, run to drain the clock. Very Chilly like. They played not to lose and gave Jacksonville the ball back with enough time to march down the field and steal a win.A first down on that 3rd down and the game is over. Much like the Chilly years and most of the first half the offense was too conservative for its own good.

Enjoy the win but keep in mind this team is going nowhere. Indy has no defense so Ponder et all should have a good game.Expect the rookie Luck to pass em dizzy. Twins should win a high scoring game. If Ponder has another bad first half vs this weak Ind team that should be all the confirmation you need that he's not your franchise QB of the future and a reach of a draft pick.Hope for the best. PS..the Vikes will never have a better chance to land their franchise QB as they had last year and blew it in Washington.

Percy's the MAN! Without him in this offense they have NO CHANCE. AP is AP.......Where was JOE WEBB? What are they saving him for? A nice win, but more imagination will be required to beat the better teams. Can we count on Musgrave? ??

It's a good thing a couple people are here to keep us grounded. For a second there, I was almost happy about the Vikings winning a game. Thanks 'partskcoj', for reminding us that the Vikings didn't play a perfect game, and that young QB's should not ever get time to develop, and that we should always jump to conclusions and stay negative.

Noticed are high paid free agent, Carlson, had much to say after the game, but was absent for most of the game. Will say it, but probably will not get much agreement. Reisner is a better tight end than Carlson. Bench Carlson and play Reisner, then we would have to targets at TE, for Ponder, instead of just Rudolph.

This is all warm and fuzzy and everything, but the bottom line is the Viking's secondary has got to stop being burned on 3rd and long or this is going to be a VERY long season.
