Absolutely disgusting .... made my bad day even worse to read this story. The right to life people must have forgot wolves want to live too.

If you want to help protect the wolves apply for license. You might win one of the lottery slots and all you need to do is stay home. For $25, that is the cost of a license.

I am astounded that 23000 people want to do this. I personally could not...it would be too much like shooting a dog. What kind of person shoots a dog? It just seems wrong...

Well, there's 23,000 trying to compensate for a lack of actual virility.

This is stupid. But Dayton must allow it if the company his wealth comes from makes any money from fur. Hunters are stupid - it will be interesting to see if more dogs are shot than wolves.

I'm going to apply for a license. I hope I get one! Then there will be one less licensed person hunting for wolves come Nov. 3 because I will use mine for paper mache. I am not anti-hunting/hunter/gun. I am anti-wolf hunt.

Trapping of any animals needs to be illegal. I don't necessarily agree, but understand a good argument can be made for responsible population management, but not through trapping. Crushing an animal's limbs in a steel trap while it slowly dies is beyond cruel, it needs to be criminal.
