Oh, they deserved it all right. The latest reversal of their punishment just said one of the two grounds for doing it is against the CBA, but the other one is still valid. So they will still get what they deserve for trying to injure other people instead of just acting like professionals. Slimeballs are slimeballs, no matter what job they have, and these are slimeballs.

Cut Mitchell, We dont need a cheating Aint on this team. Gee i wonder why he thinks the punishment was too harsh? The punishment wasnt harsh enough in my mind, shouldve stripped them of the title. Thats the only way cheaters will be taught a lesson!

I agree with klinkhater, Saint's should have been stripped of there title. That game we played with the Saint's destroyed the integrity of the NFL, as far as I am concerned. Besides the bounty system, that the Saint's had in place, and despite the many turnovers the Vikes had, the officials determined the outcome of the game. A interference call against Lieber, that was phoney, in a critical situation, and the non calls of some of the illegal hits against Favre were critical, in determining the outcome. Myself and most Viking fans, should seriously doubt, the honesty of the officiating in that game.

Dirty, rotten Saints franchise should have gotten the "death penalty", just like Penn State should have gotten!
