Can anyone eplain why Obama thinks green jobs are good and oil jobs are bad? And oil jobs do not need subsidies. Some liberal will reference depletion allowance and other tax breaks. But you have to pay taxes to get a tax break. Green jobs need direct subsidies and pay no taxes. Big difference.

LiberalOne46 - Obama thinks both are good - hence the largest increase in oil leases in the last 8-10 years. What Obama favors and Romney does not, is investment in future technologies that could have a significant impact on fuel usage. "Green" power can be adopted for scales from home to commercial. Those are power sources that have no extractive or transport costs. They are intended to REDUCE usage of the expensive "fossil fuel" systems - which reduces actual power costs for industrial scale power users - and increases their profitability. --- Lastly , if you think big oil isn't actively receiving massive federal subsidies - you missed the last 5 years of media coverage on Energy. Big Oil has has received subsidies every year for the last 5 decades. Do an internet search ... seriously.
