How about they give us $$100-Million per artist to get a chance to have their design chosen?

To have the new stadium reveal the downtown skyline is pretty in the architects renderings but impractical because that's an area where there could have been more seats.

wow....150 people showed up. sounds like the public is really enthusiastic about this boondoggle that will drain more than $900 million, after interest is included, from the public coffers....

All I want is a unique VIKING experience! Maybe our retractable roof (you know they want one!) can resemble sails? Sydney Opera house anyone? You should see this stadium and immediately know this is the home of the Minnesota Vikings. Please commit to having a Viking Motif.

What happened to the tens of millions of dollars spent by the Metropolitan Sports Commission on feasibility and design studies over the last 10 years? They still don't have a design? WHAT. IN. THE. HELL....did all THAT tax payer money get spent on!?

None seem to list a Minnesota address. The real competition will be in keeping out of state contractors from getting the bid.

I went and was hoping to see Viking Stadium idea's but there were none... Please build a traditional Stadium that will last for the next 50 to 100 years... We need a stadium that makes it an awesome experience for the fan first and foremost. Please avoid the corporate or shopping mall look. Great Stadiums to reference: Cleveland, Green Bay, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh!! Stadiums to NOT reference: Dallas (feakish), Detroit (still looks like the boring Pontiac Silverdome), Cardinals UGLY, UGLY, UGLY and terrible sight lines on the lower level. Can the stadium have a light weight retractable roof that doesn't ruin that game day experience? That's the question.

"no drawings or plans for the new multipurpose stadium were made public." ... so you want MY money to build a stadium and then you can't post plans online? someone better fix this situation.

The designs were not available because, if the whole 150 monster crowd of people that showed up had looked around, they would have seen each firm's architects taking measurements of the current Metrodome in preparation of cloning it for a Metrodome version 2.0. Do you REALLY think this flyover city is going to get some architecturally unique structure dedicated to a 50 years and counting garbage team? And, a Viking motif? The advertising department wouldn't get that right because they haven't even fixed the fact that Vikings did not have HORNS on their helmets. They keep saying show your horns - how about squat on your horns instead? Read a history book before you ask for something you will not want. BTW, the team's value skyrocketed due to Wilf getting OUR FREE MONEY (that was stated during the crappy season opener game which looked more like some stupid singing contest show with its poor performers). Way to go Dayton, Rybak, and other elected idiots!
