Honestly, I don't understand the lack of enthusiasm for Gopher football. As a Gopher fan trapped in Iowa, I see standing-room only sellouts in Ames to watch Cyclone teams that can best be described as mediocre. Maybe the difference is the great tailgating there, I don't know. But 35,000 for a home opener? Yeesh.

I don't get Sid... So a team coming off a 3-13 season should expect to beat a team that went 5-11 the previous season? Why?
