The man is more qualified than most other lobbyists. Cut him some slack and let the man work.

Looks like the reporter tries to bar any or all people that been locked up from having a job. Why don't they publish the 40,000 laws that are Federal, and see if they can be Law abiding for one day.

I'm surprised he is representing Cedar Towing and not Gopher Towing. The way they openly break the law, a convicted felon for a lobbyist would fit right in with their business model. Although really, I'm not sure why a towing company would need a lobbyist in Minneapolis anyways. They already have bought out the city's "towing inspector" and the cops won't touch them.

@mplsbigmama--- Actually he did his time and is working he isn't a criminal anymore. Are you suggesting that no one should hire the man? Oh high and mighty one what should he do? Is he supposed provide income for his family? Oh high and mighty one how is the weather up on that throne?

ARRey sez: It could very well be that criminals become the best lobbyists at the city and county levels. That certainly seems to be the case in Saint Paul and in DC.

We hired Garcia to lobby for us back in 2000. He took our money and did little if anything else. Now he's gotten spiritual, huh. Good for him. What is it they say; once a scorpion ...
