I stil think that Todman would be the ideal change of pace third down back, but at least we got him to the practice squad. Nothing against Asiata, but shouldn't our change of pace guy be a fast, shifty guy like Todman instead of a bruiser like Asiata? I mean, Asiata runs similar to Gerhart. Oh well. Hopefully Todman will still get a shot here in MN, though I hope it's not because of injury!

Going into the season with no talent in the defensive secondary in a pass happy division. If it was possible this team would finish worse than the 0-16 it's going to achieve.

I hope this guy Jefferson is a decent player. I really don't know much about him. I watched all the preseason games, and wasn't to crazy about Carr. He looked to be a cheaper version of Cedric Griffen [can't tackle, and was overmatched by 1st team recievers]. As far as Bowman is concerned, I never really noticed him making any plays period. The Vikes plan of starting Cook, and Winfield, seems good. The problem is if Winfield doesn't hold up the full season. That leaves the D-Backfield, without any real experience. Youth is wonderful, and has nothing but upside, BUT, the division we play in, is a pass happy one, and no experience means, big problems. Our pass rush can help, but we led the league in sacks last season, and everyone knows what QBs were able to do against our D-Backs. The waiver wire seems to have alot of good players, that could help this team. We will see if the front office makes any moves. Noticed that there are quite a few WRs, and LBs, out there also, that could help these problem positions. This guy Asper was one of the players that I was hoping the Vikes would take a shot at during the draft. Hope he pans out. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pre-season release of FAs Carr and Bowman, who Spielman and Frasier publically proclaimed as significant improvements, should leave no doubt that these two are completely incompetent at improving the worst secondary in the NFL........

Todman has more squirt but Asiata can play fullback and probably contribute more on special teams that's why he's on the 53 man roster.

The Vikes secondary will get lit up again this year.

The addition of Bowman and Carr was a significant improvement, at the time, but the younger guys provide more upside. Remember, those two were brought in before the draft.

I've been a Vikings fan since the franchise was started here. I hate to say this but, welcome to another year of inept football.

How about the viking's wave "bye bye" to Spielman and Frazier so we can start re-building instead of continuing down the path of a third consecutive last place NFC North finish!!!
