Jon Bream you apparently don't appreciate Gary La Vox's voice like most of the civilized world..."Granted, women swoon for these songs and LeVox's high, reedy, nasally voice, which makes him sound like country's answer to Journey's Steve Perry." Totally disagree with you there. Few on earth can hit the high notes that Gary does with ease. You add some of the vocal gymnastics he injects with ease, and it makes you shake your head in admiration. Steve Perry would have to aspire to meet his level of singing. Your description makes his voice sound unpleasant and that is far, far from the truth. I do agree with you about Little Big Town. they are four greatly talented singers who perform harmony with an amazing clarity and expertise. Great talents and super performers. The concert could have done without the two other openning acts which only made the show too long and provided filler music.

I just don't get it. Give me some Hank Williams, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash any day. This stuff is Pop music.
