Mauer has thrown out only 6 runners in 49 attempts? Wow. This team is a trainwreck. 100 losses on the horizon and once again Gardenhire has gotten a free pass from the FO and will be back next year. Wonderful....

Officially now the worst home record in all of MLB. Take a bow Garbo. The Twins could sweep KC this weekend and they still won't catch them in the standings. Take a bow Gardo...well earned...well done. No worries though...Terry's got your back, and playing the rest of Twinsville for suckers.

inconsistency--the twins score a total of five runs in three games with seattle and bust out for ten runs in another--inconsistency....and ryan's comments give us little hope of anything better....

Twenty-five games under .500, having just lost 17-21 games..and all there is to say is how Mauer doesn't stay on the right part of his foot...just how pathetic is that! That should earn at least three passes to the front for the after game buffet for a certain writer.

4-17 in their last 21 games. About to play 22 straight vs. AL central teams, anyone care to guess how they'll fair?

njc264isbackAug. 30, 12 4:05 PM

Gotta love how Ryan allows the team to play shorthanded for a week only to DL Span 2 days before rosters expand. You can't make up this mickey mouseness of this organization right now.

Anyone catch the attendance? It was looking real sparse on fsn.

I get the feeling skipper does not like Willingham. He never refers to him with those inane nicknames like Plouffey or Butey (who get extraordinary TV time evevy time SOME ONE ELSE gets a hit, etc as they are in the dugout). Plouffe's last at bat was awful. Yet skippy calls out Willingham in a subtle way in the press conference about the dropped ball. Really ? This will be the guy we trade offseason, mark my words. Just ridiculous. We have not had someone with those numbers since, oh maybe Killebrew. Go Hammer, 40 HR and 115 RBI. And Gardy, it would be a real easy reach to call him that.

mlb.com reported 32k paid today. Keyword, PAID, that number was not even close to the actual number that attended.

Pathetic effort by a pathetic team led by a pathetic manger enabled by a pathetic organization.
