I've see KISS a number of times, and they never fail to pull off a great show. The Finale (Rock and Roll all night) was spectacular with a least quadruple the amount of confetti used at the SuperBowl...quite a spectacle ...I've never seen anything quite like it - I would hate to be on the cleaning crew! Combined with The Crue, it was a memorable night of Rock and Roll!

Stick a fork in Motley Crue...they are DONE! Vince Neil is an embarrassment and should retire. The fact that he can't finish a sentence without being out of breath and can't remember most of the words to songs he has been "singing" for 30 years is insulting to Crue fans who pay a lot of money to see them. Crue seemed unorganized and tired. Kiss on the other hand were a well oiled machine. Despite some bass guitar issues during the first song, Kiss sounded great and definitely out performed Motley Crue in every way.

Dear Jon: Were you at the show? The Vince Neil account is accurate, and funny, but that is about all you got right. For most of the KISS show the crown as sitting down as it was completely boring.

If a fork should be stuck in anyone, it's John Bream. Mr. Bream, you have been bashing the Crue for as long as I can remember. I would love to see you get up there on stage and do a fraction of what these guys (and KISS too) do every night in sweltering heat. My bet is that you wouldn't last. I will agree with you that Mick Mars is amazing, I could watch him alone play for hours. I think you said it best when you said that KISS had plenty of the SAME OLD TRICKS. I love KISS and I've seen them three times in the last fifteen years and it was the SAME EXACT show each time. At least Motley has enough creativity to switch it up a little bit each tour. The flames, water cannons, Nikki's flamethrower bass and the dancers/aerialists are meant to add to the visual stimulation of the show. Bottom line for me and probably a lot of the local Crue-heads and members of the KISS Army... if you don't understand the spirit of rock music - which it seems to me you don't - then why do you even go? The show was awesome, SOLD OUT crowd, both bands ROCKED. I came out of there sweating like crazy, buzzed on adrenaline and my voice is toast this morning from screaming like a teenager.

Having seen both KISS and Motley Crue many many times....I can say I was pretty impressed and totally entertained by both bands. The Crue came out kickin it and didnt stop. KISS came out and did what it is they do best entertained.....I do have to laugh when I read many "critics" reviews......Mr. Bream....brush up on your facts before you attempt to share with the masses your opinion......What the fans in the sold out Grandstand paid for got their monies worth and then some......It was one of the best rock shows in years...

These bands still rock, especially Kiss! Still selling out shows even after all these years. It's obvious even older people like to rock!
