Whats the matter with todays sportsmen, this is one area where everybody can help the environment yet are too lazy to do so.

This is a clear case of natural law (compliance through human reasoning) vs invasive government. Sorry Doug, many of us sportsmen think these AIS laws are unreasonable and unnecessary.

"many of us sportsmen think these AIS laws are unreasonable and unnecessary" Nice to know that your thoughts get to dictate the quality of the outdoor experience for the rest of us. (the definition of thoughtlessness).

At least my thoughts on the subject don't result in the trampling of civil rights, wasting of taxpayer money and advocating a war on some very successful ancient invasive species that can't be won. Thoughtlessness is believing that invasive government tactics against outdoorsmen will eradicate these species.

It's amazing how ignorant, lazy and selfish people are. "It doesn't effect me, so I don't care" or "too little too late" kind of attitudes. Even if the spread of invasives is inevitable, we don't need to help them. None of these laws are difficult, expensive or unreasonable to comply with.
