After clearly demonstrating their superiority against the obviously inferior Texas Rangers, The Minnesota Twins head home celebrating their gloriously victorious road trip, where they devestated their three respective Western Division opponents. The Twins were led by their brilliant and beloved manager, "Gardy", Cy De Vries, and future Hall of Famer, Ben Revere. Twins are #1 without any doubt... This according to Dick Homer Bremer and Ron Coomer

Too bad there isn't a permanent cure for sarcasm. I complain as much as the next person, but I still like to enjoy the occasional win. If you can't do that, find something else to do.

Agreed ladykas! Just enjoying baseball right now and a win is nice here and there. I guess I am a homer for having pride in my home state teams, but why is that bad?? So we suck right now, can't I still be a Twins fan??

IF the twins wouldnt leave so many guys on base most of the time they would win more games.LETS hope they get lucky tommorrow night against KING FELIX.

Revere is fun to watch because he give his all to the game and team. He was a early spark when some of the TWINS players looked both patehtic and apathetic--that includes Mauer's ""efforts" at first.

Its nice to win a game on occasion. But what a miserable road trip. Since there has been no report as to what the Twins were offered for Morneau, I'm going to give Ryan the benefit of the doubt. It really doesn't matter what happens the rest of this season anyways. But the Twins have to add some quality starting pitching for next season. They have no choice. They probably need to add 3 pitchers overall. Two of which need to be at least #2-type-caliber pitchers. Don't bring guys like Hendricks or Blackburn back. And no more Nishiokas either. If the Twins want Mauer at first, they need to trade Morneau. But they also need to bring in a solid starting catcher with good defensive skills and can also hit. No more Buteras. We also need some more offense in our middle infield. The FO needs to decide if they want Gardy and/or his coaches back. The fans have spoken. We don't. Why do you?

Nice to finally see someone step up during the road trip. This team is going nowhere until they get rid of some of the starting pitchers. Until then, I'll have a hard time spending my money on subpar talent.

Someone tell Terry Ryan he can demote Gray to AAA and call up Slama anytime now.
