You have got to love these under rated guys. I like to see these small time college, 6th, and 7th rnd, undrafted rookie FA, make the teams. They are told they are to small, to slow, not tough enough, etc. They play with real passion. With that pissed off chip on there shoulder. You see so many of these "Gifted" 1st rnd players, that get those big contracts, and turn out to be bumbs, because they don't have the drive to play the best they can. Don't have the desire to practise hard, or put in the time to learn how to be the best. I would take a bunch of over acheivers, over a group of "silver spooners" any day. I just think of players like John Randle. Nobody wanted him, he knew it, and seeked revenge for it, against everyone, his whole HOF career. I hope Fusco pancakes the first big school DT, on the first play. Then gets pissed for the rest of his career. GO UNDERDOGS!!! GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sure like this story. I gives us the opportunity to really see how many players actually come from "small" schools. It proves the point, if you really play well you will succeed no matter where you come from. I wish all of them could play for the Vikings.

As a proud Rock alumnae I say Brandon may be just what the Vikings need. Remember what they said about Jesus. How could anything good come from Nazareth. That's what I've heard people say about Slippery Rock. I' m not comparing Brandon to Jesus but you just watch I think he will do Slippery Rock & Minnesota proud. GO BRANDON & VIKINGS!
